Actually that IS true. Membership with a dress code, sorry guys, no flip flops and shorts. Parking is 25 pesos as you enter, but we are working with SM to get valet service.

My impression is the owners want this play to be classy, I would not be surprised if free rollers are not welcome.

I'll try to visit here one time if i have time and ask they will be having an opening freeroll because it's only near from our house.  Who knows, there might be a surprise FREEROLL.  Better check this one out.

I just would like to share the text I received regarding the opening of this Poker Room from my friend who co-owns the place.

"Hello Friends and Poker Players. We would like to invite you this Friday, the 11th of September to the opening of MBC (The Manila Bay Poker Club). We are located at the Bldg. D, SM By the Bay, Mall Of Asia Complex (besides Hooters). We open our doors at 2pm. (Dress code: Strictly No Shorts or Slippers). We hope to see you there."

Wala pa coz ang plano nila is to "iron out" the kinks in their procedures before they do a tourney. Parang soft opening pa lang this weekend. Formal opening nila is on Monday pa. Plus, the guys who will be taking care of the tourneys is still out of the country pa. Baka end of the month meron na. I will post it here the soonest once I hear something from them.
