i was there kagabi right after ko maglaro sa metro. yung announcement kagabi e 6pm daw start ng registration tapos 8pm e shuffle up and deal. ang pagkakadinig ko nga e 50k freeroll (not sure though) medyo nagkagulo kagabi dahil napuno agad yung table for the freeroll tapos mga 50+ yung alternates and there were 9 or 10 tables na ginamit sa tourney. i was number 22 sa mga alternates,pag may na bust out e tsaka pa lang papasok yung alternates. nasa 100-200 blind level na ako nung naka upo. i got my stack up to 19k level before the 30min break but got suck out for 14k for the first 2 hands. katabi ko yung isang taga PM,papajeks ata name.(nice meeting you sir!). i was able to regain most of my chips pero natransfer ako sa table ng mga big stacks  ayun,automatic short stack strategy. i got bust out playing A-6 suited D against A-K off with 800-1600 blinds and 200 ante.

Played here last 12/28.. initial announcement was the tournament will start at 8pm..it was moved and started at 9pm.. 8 or 9 tables yata inabot, but dami alternates(not one of them).. there were a couple of cash game players playing their first tournament,. lasted til about 230am (got busted out around that time, dnt know if it lasted longer).. got my stack as high as 150k+ in the final table, finished 5th..

THE HAMMER 7DEUCE 

Mechanics:
•   The Hammer (7 deuce) tournament operate like Regular No Limit Hold’em tournament except players who join give an additional amount of chips (the prop bet) which will make the 7 deuce side pot.
•   When a player wins a hand by holding 7-2 suited or unsuited as their hole cards the player will win the side pot and in addition, all players will give the amount of the Big blind on the current blind level.
•   The amount of chips on which the players have to give to the 7-2 side pot are as follows:
Level  1-4   50
Level  5-8   100
Level  9-11   200
Level  12-14   300
Level  15-17   500
Level  18-24    1000
Level  26-28   5000
These are the amount the players have to give to the 7 deuce side pot  on a certain blind level bracket. For example, from level 4 going to level 5 all players must give an additional 50 chip for the 7-2 side pot. Each time the 7-2 side pot is won all players will give the amount specified on each bracket to the side pot.
•   During table balancing and table breaking all players will get the amount that they put in the 7-2 side pot and give it to the 7-2 pot of the table where they are transferred.
•   In the event that there will be remaining chips on the side pot due to players that busted out, these chips will be distributed by high card.
•   Players can and will be busted out in case someone wins the pot and his chips are covered.
•   P 1000 bonus cash game voucher  if your 1st place winning hand is 7-2

Blinds will be capped when deemed to be necessary.         
Tables will move to 9 handed ASAP         
4 tables or less balance with in 1, 5 or more tables balance with in 2         
Breaking order will be announced at start of tournament         
Playing by TDA rules         
 Redraw at 18 and 10 players         
Final table will be 10 handed         
NO CHOP, NO DEAL MAKING, NO COLLUSION, NO INSURANCE. Anybody caught doing it will be warned on the first offense, then disqualified on the 2nd offense.

Thanks Nicky for everything.  
5k overlay is just a promo for their introductory Hammer, a similar 3k add-on to the pot is offered for the Sniper.  These are just time-limited promotions prelude to their Valentine's Day 72k GTD Hammer tourney.

These 300 peso buy-ins with good structure tourneys are designed to attract new players and discouraged bad plays from donkeys like me.  The pot is not big enough to attract sophisticated players but highly recommended for beginner poker players.

The cash game promo is also a come-on, even more attractive, 200 pesos bonus for minimum buy-in (of 500 pesos, 10-20) between 4pm-8pm.  Although the coupon I got indicates 200 bonus for 1000 pesos.

I have no affiliation with the (nor any) poker room but conjectures it as marketing dept's attempt to recruit new poker afficionados.  TAKE ADVANTAGE WHILE IT LASTS.
