the firmware you have is different version, you need to update it to another version.

for the sun e1550 original is 11.608.12, but globe (e1552) has distributed a version E1552Update_11.608.13.00.158.B416 that instead of asking unlock code give same message you have. good thing there is a latest upgrade 11.608.14.11.158.B416, but this is for the e155x series only.

i will put up a link for you to update to friendly version for e220, but please take all precaution and at your own risk. the process can not be interrupted. use NOTEBOOK PC with battery and powered by AC OUTLET.

yup. once unlocked, u can use a globe or smart sim on ur sun modem.
