SNG no. 0039 (January 15, 2011, 8AM)

The New Mr. Consistent moves up to second, The Former Mister Consistent regains old form and ITMs.  But the story of the day was the player who offered advanced thanks to the player treating the group afterwards.  Congrats Con888!

1st place – Conrad "Con888" Herrera (P2,500 cash + 4 SNGLB points)

2nd place – Nico "Rubberducky06" Arceo (P1,500 cash + 2 SNGLB points)

Let me add a byline to this... ala-dang_kaye!

TENS ARE GOOD... IS THAT YOU DOYLE?

SNG League front-runner con888 continues his roll. After the bubble bursts when M.D. Hazzard busts out rob14yfc on his 3rd straight shove, placing became crucial for Leaderboard and League standings. On the shortest stack, con888 doubles up in the next hand when his AQo hits the flop against Doc's A9o.

After a few rounds with big stacks kindoy and con888 exchanging towers, it became a blind battle between con888 with ATo covering M.D. Hazzard's stack. His shove was met by an instacall from Doc with AKo. However, a T hits the turn and Doc is out with 1 point to his name.

Railers had gathered around the SNG table, waiting for, "the setup hand" care of this current dealer (who bears a Pinay resemblance to Eva
Mendez, or is that just this reporter's opinion? LOL!). After a few rounds of relatively quiet action, stacks go in preflop. Kindoy tables face-card high (please edit, Deuces/con888/kindoy), and con888 shows 10-2o with the Tc. It had to come, like it was a movie script for
Rounders 3: The SNG Kings: the flop comes down all clubs and the turn club seals the one card flush and the win for con888!

Very nice Doc! Without a doubt, a PMer doing a write-up this good should be part of the PM coverage team!  Also, I'm confident that the tradition wasn't broken, but I don't think I ever read anything about it.  BURP?

con888 is really throwing his weight into the competition, both in the PM SNG League and in the overall Metro Madness SNGLB  ;D

SNG no. 0048 (January 18, 2011, 8 a.m.)

1st place – Conrad “con888” Herrera (P2,500 cash + 4 SNGLB points)

2nd place –  King “Kindoy” Manarin (P1,500 cash + 2 SNGLB points)

3rd place – Harry “Mark D. Hazzard” Trinidad (P1,000 cash + 1 SNGLB points)

Railers had gathered around the SNG table, waiting for, "the setup hand" care of this current dealer (who bears a Pinay resemblance to Eva Mendez, or is that just this reporter's opinion? LOL!). After a few rounds of relatively quiet action, stacks go in preflop. Kindoy tables face-card high (please edit, Deuces/con888/kindoy), and con888 shows 10-2o with the Tc. It had to come, like it was a movie script for Rounders 3: The SNG Kings: the flop comes down all clubs and the turn club seals the one card flush and the win for con888!

Very nice Doc! Without a doubt, a PMer doing a write-up this good should be part of the PM coverage team!  Also, I'm confident that the tradition wasn't broken, but I don't think I ever read anything about it.  BURP?

Sana ma-quote din ako... ung maganda kong comments. Oh well. Next time.
