For marketing reasons, the organizer prefers the champ becoming a millionaire but when the game becomes tough and push becomes shove there is possibility remaining players shall become more practical.  In this particular case, heads-ups might become a 50k winner take all if both agrees to settle for guaranteed 600,000 pesos-including seat these 2 lucky guys took in more than 50% of pot!

yup stakers, or satellites? I went last nite and tried to play the 8pm tourny pero pag dating ko dun, walang tao. 12midnight daw ulit. I want to try and get a seat pero their tourny hours are so late. Maybe we can get a home game satellite where winner plays at the Empire tourny  and the others who  particiapted in the satellite  gets money if that player ITMs in the Empire tourny, maybe  50/50 or 60/40 player and satellite players.

@polnso: Ha ha ha lol... hindi po challenge yung pi-nost ko... May nagtatanong po kung meron satellite... eh may alam ako... I just spilled reliable info.... Hindi naman tayo maku kuryente diyan at siguradong tuloy yan bukas my friend...

As to the PM-PP tiff... Hmmm... mukhang natutulog sa pansitan ang info ko diyan... walang gusto magsalita... Parang may code of silence sila... On good terms naman ako sa PP leadership pero their lips are sealed.... Ano tingin mo kay 11F at kay Boss Pepe?... Mag spill kaya sila... Hmmm... I doubt it... Ngek!...

Basta alam ko... PM is the pioneer poker website dito sa pinas... very active members (if not officers) ng PM ang nag bolt out to form their own poker forum which is PP today.... And that info is coming from a person (moi) who became active sa philippine poker scene only last year (2010)... Meron na rin po poker portal asia ngayon pero hindi ko alam kung may forum na sila... filtered rin kasi poker portal asia sa opis...
