Masters poker has shown that regular sunday 15k FREEROLL already works, no need to give more.  i would like to know if 60k non negotiable cash game chips shall work.   food vouchers plus nn table game chips worked at RWM.

Meaning buhay na buhay ang Masters? Haven't played there in a long time. Must check it out some time.

60K NN cash chips? Play the chips, convert to real chips if you win hand, like in casinos?

And my final question of the night:

If you had to lend money to one of the following, who would it be:

CHINO RHEEM or FULL TILT POKER? LOL!

any freeroll naman of course dudumugin ng tao eh.

here the actual scenario of that freeroll.

2 pm registration.

dami nakapila. walang cash game. after 20 min. puno na listahan.

230 pm

500 pm 1 table cash game running. tournament started.

600 pm 2 table cash game. lahat alisan na.

note : people say tournament players and cash game players are different. this is just 1 factor ha.

i think most people must realize that house players should be fully utilize more. mas effective magyaya ang isang player kesa sa receptionist or floor.

as i said from personal experience and this is only 1 factor that should be considered. there are other factors as well

sheshh i was reffering to the master tour

I wonder how many played cash game tables after the freeroll sa empire?

They let in 200 people into the tourney. 12 tables everyone else was alternates. After the first 4 levels, dinner break, about 160 players have been seated. The others joined when more busted out after dinner.

Sobrang daming tao that I've never seen playing before. I would have to assume malate area or LAPS players sila.

CHINO RHEEM or FULL TILT POKER? LOL!

Unless Chino was a total douchebag and still avoided paying his debts despite winning $1M from the Epic poker league win then go with him. Cause you have to be named Todd Brunson for FTP/Lederer open his trunk for you. And when I say trunk I mean his boot.

First of Three Parts

@polnso:  I agree with your last post for August 2011... The Chat Thread is for boring and useless chatter... For "useless" marketing chatter, go to the pussy thread... Ngek! at wpp Friendship Garfield...

Instead of a 4 days holiday eh naging 4 days hectic working holiday po kami... Hmmm... Siguro nakakatangap sila ng NIGHT SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL... Ngek!

Dami akong kwento... how do I start...

After my night shift work eh nagpa chop-chop muna ako... Then I had late lunch and proceeded to the 2pm tourney ng Metro... Unfortunately, gone with the wind kaagad ang aking 500 petot at early bust-out po...

Proceeded to the 10/20 cash game tables... Resulta: Total of 1,100 petot buy-in (600 + 500) eh naging 2,520 petot... Kailangan po pumunta otherwise the reporter would be engaging in rumor mongering.... Trabaho na po ni Pumpkin yon... Ngek! at wpp Baby D...

On to Empire....

While walking towards Empire from the parking lot eh nakita ko nga si "Franz28" Aldaba... Pucha mukhang excited mag back to school si Aldaba...

BUT on the day of Vic's Victory Celebration.... Nakapila po ako malapit sa hagdanan... Yup, you read it right... Who else but china girl "bananashake7"... Not only that, to ease the boredom eh nasa likod ni bananashake7 si Tofie...

Habang nakapila kami eh nag announce si Papi bear that they are putting a cap on the number of participants for safety reasons... 200 Max lang daw...

Ngek!... Duon po ako naghintay sa may aircon at nakipag chikahan muna with PP buddies who busted out... Nanduon rin si Jigger na nakikipag kwentuhan habang naglalaro at the same time... Papi Bear (pointing to me) said: "The food line starts here!"... Eh di una ako nakakain... Thank you po Papi Bear...

Habang naghihintay eh we  had the pleasure of engaging the Champ, Pokermax Vic de Guzman, in a lively conversation...

First question of Tofie to Vic:  "ANO NA WINALDAS MO?"... Bibitinin ko muna kayo parang 100 days to heaven.... Para EXCITING... ayos ba friendship garfield?...

In the end, mga past 8 pm na po ako nasalang... 8k in chips... hindi na ako nag dealer's chips kasi useless rin dami na chips nung mga kalaban... parang facebook poker pa sila maglaro... puro all-in... Napasabak ako sa 2nd hand ko... pocket nine... apat yata kami all-in... Lamang yung may hawak na pocket kings who uttered: "Justice please"... There was justice on the flop but not on the turn... TURN IS NINE.... Shiiiippppp IT!!!....

Daming tao AT ANG DAMI PONG NEW FACES... Sino sila? Baka sila ang hinihintay ni Garfield...

Ngek! at wpp...  8) 8) 8)

I, we,  know mataas yung rake pero sa mga non grinders how many do you think really cares about the rake? Would cutting the rake in half actually make more people try playing live?

The way i see it, only those who are already playing a lot, specially those who does it for a living, would really care about computing the rake. Those who play online and know ho wmuch rake they charge and compare it to live would notice the big disparity. But if one was a casual player, they see the chance of stacking another player, does rake really come into play?

Despite all my questions, go pa rin ako sa idea na ibaba ang rake.

Second of Three Parts

On other matters, hinihintay ko lang naman yan post mo para laying the predicate for my second installment...

Strict kasi parents niya... DLSU alumnus nga pala si bananashake... good breeding...

Hmmm.... Anyways, best place nga to learn chinese sa china... You have no choice but to speak the language.... Ngek!...

Hmmm... di ba universal naman ang english... nagkakaiba lang ang spelling in some jurisdictions pero english is english... Nagkakaiba lang sa accent... may american accent... may british accent... may australian accent (believe me at mahirap sila maintindihan)... and of course,,, my favorite... pinoy accent...

Ganun rin siguro sa Chinese.... may shanghai accent... may beijing accent... at may binondo girl... este, binondo accent... Ngek!... Tama ba theory ko polnso?...

As to her picture.... She goes by her real name,,, Lanna Huang...

Final Installment (third of 3 parts)

Naunahan na pala ni Jigger yung predicate for my third installment...

Ang tanong?... what made the Empire Freeroll last night click?,,,, Alam ko eh me pa freeroll rin naman ang Masters at yung SouthEastAsia Poker... Kaso linggo or sunday yon... Empire Freeroll happened on a wednesday...

O baka naman it was the guarantee... 60K guarantee po...

Hmmm.. not bad... you get to play for free a 500 petot buy-in event...

Whatever it is?... kung ano man yon, Thank you po Boss Vic for the free game... Hmmm... Baka naman kaya maraming tao eh may "charity" or "social responsibility" aspect yung poker event.... Baka iyon ang hinahanap ng tao... Ask Franz28... Biruin mo last minute eh naghahanap ng school supplies...

idol egol.... konting "useful" information....

Traditional Chinese classification lists seven groups, comprising:
• Gan    (Jiangxinese)
• Guan    (Mandarin or Beifanghua)
• Kejia    (Hakka)
• Min    (including the Hokkien and Taiwanese variants)
• Wu    (including the Shanghainese variant)
• Xiang    (Hunanese)

i know a bit of mandarin.....  naging useful sa akin yan last week at the metro.....  na kwento ko na ata syo iyan last month....

cantonese naman ang language ng maraming expert hk chefs na nasa kusina ng masasarap na chinese restos here...  yan din ang gamit ng mga tao sa macau before the turnover....

do you think empire lang nag-benefit dun sa freeroll (did it really benefited itself)?

I was at the metro last night to play it 1.5.0 tourney, expecting it to have less runners dahil nga dun sa donkament sa empire...but to my surprise ang daming sumali -- 103!!!! -- which I believe was the first time metro didn't overlay in its wed tourney (usually 6 to 7 tables lang sila).

Among those who played the metro 1.5.0 were the first Empire Emperor Francis Nethercott, the new emperor Ian Marcos and the advocate low buy-in tourney Delfino "Welcoat" Ty (yes egol, he picked a 1,500 petot buy-in over freeroll)

The topic in our table was the empire freeroll and each of us have a say on why they didn't play in it with one went as far as saying that it's not a freeroll after all and empire might have even earned from it.

I played well the entire tourney, grinding my stack up to over 30k without going all-in. But as Carding este Pol said, August was a ghost month (turned out to be the worst month of my poker career), I lost the very first time I went all-in with QQ as my opponent Joan the former floor woke up with AA.

I then got a text from Jomel asking me to go to empire to rail for him as he's in the final table of the freeroll. I went there and saw two cash game tables running, pokermax playing billiards and around 30 players railing the final table. Jomel finished 5th and we headed back to metro to see more than 20 cash game tables running -- at 1 a.m.!!!!

row 4 po tayo since high school....

idol egol.... konting "useful" information....

Traditional Chinese classification lists seven groups, comprising:
• Gan    (Jiangxinese)
• Guan    (Mandarin or Beifanghua)
• Kejia    (Hakka)
• Min    (including the Hokkien and Taiwanese variants)
• Wu    (including the Shanghainese variant)
• Xiang    (Hunanese)

i know a bit of mandarin.....  naging useful sa akin yan last week at the metro.....  na kwento ko na ata syo iyan last month....

cantonese naman ang language ng maraming expert hk chefs na nasa kusina ng masasarap na chinese restos here...  yan din ang gamit ng mga tao sa macau before the turnover....

for the record, low buy in does not refer to FREEROLLS, and final table at metro is not same anywhere else, can never be compared to freeroll finals, especially. ho! ho! ho!
christmas is not even near yet.

no, it is called money management.  that is why  have to be choosy with poker tourneys.  my last 1k shall be split evenly for tonight's metro60k and saturday series 1.
if its women, freerolls are welcomed.  i am never choosy.
