MANILA, Philippines - The Metro Card Club, the premier poker room in the country, celebrates its fourth anniversary with a P5-million guaranteed tournament on Oct. 20-25 at the Metrowalk Complex in Pasig City.

The Metro is the biggest and the best poker room in the country with more than 30 tables catering all kinds of players, from low stakes to high stakes cash game ones to those who prefer tournaments.

For the anniversary bash, the buy-in is P10,000 and players can choose from three starting days (Oct. 20-22) to begin their quest for the title and the top purse worth over P1 million.

Last year, 633 players vied in the tournament which offered a guaranteed prize of P3 million with Oliver Roxas topping the event worth P750,000 plus an Asian Pacific Poker Tour (APPT) Cebu package worth P150,000.

The Metro has been running “satellites”, wherein players can win a ticket through its twice-a-day tournaments with buy-in of as low as P500.
